LZ-4 Four Gun Switch Box

The LZ-4 gun selector allows the user to attach 4 stud welding guns to a single power supply.  This saves substantial setup time when different weld studs are needed to be welded quickly on the same part.  The system utilizes a programmable logic controller (PLC) which recognizes the gun operator is using, automatically disables the other guns and safely welds with the gun the has been selected.  Most IWT guns are compatible with the LZ-4 including C1, C2, M1 and S1 contact guns.  The LZ-4 is not suitable for use with the G1 gap gun.

The LZ-4 can able be easily programmed to work with either a Lnyx4 capacitor discharge system or a Fusion drawn arc system.
